It is an organization for film festival creators and organizers as well as directors from all over the world. The platform’s founder wanted to create a safe, healthy environment for everyone who works in the film festival industry as creators, programmers, organizers, etc., where they will be treated as professionals the way that film producers, directors, and filmmakers are. This will open possibilities for new collaborations among the festivals and allow the professionals to discuss the challenges that face them and how to protect this industry and make progress together.
MFFS is the first Syndicate to be created for the film festival creators and workers
Everyone in the MFFS will be invited to participate in Magica villas and campuses at Cannes and in the international entertainment and film markets, and to sponsor them as well. Filmmakers and artists will also be invited to discuss what they need and expect from the film festivals, and to encourage, assist, and support the new generation of film festival makers by collaborating with them, consulting for them, providing awards, and helping them secure well-known filmmakers to be part of their juries or panels.
We have a team of lawyers to protect members from abuse on social media or defamation, blackmailing, bullying, or racism.
The members of the board are professional film festival makers / creators and influential international filmmakers and artists.
There are eligibility rules to be a member of the MFFS, which is the first Syndicate to be created for the film festival creators and workers.
If you are a professional FFC / FFM "film festival creator / maker" :
Professional film festival makers and creators will be nominated for membership in the club of arts as film festival makers, so the job will be considered as a profession that must be treated equally to the other professions such as producers, directors, writers, etc. Maggie is working on creating a safe, healthy, and friendly environment for all film festival creators; those who will be eligible for our membership will be nominated to the Academy of Arts. Our FFC members will be nominated for membership in the academies if we sign a deal with them regarding this step.
If you are a beginner FFM / FFC
We will help you create and improve your festival and reach more professional filmmakers to take part in it as a juror or for workshops and master classes. We will consult on your whole program and plan.
